through the looking glass.

one of my favourite things to do from time to time is reflect; look back one year at my old blog posts ~ see what my frame of mind was, and what was going on in my life at that time.  so i’m sad to see that in december of 2009 there were no posts.  makes sense though, because i’m pretty sure i recall feeling fed up with all that the year had thrown my way. however i’m happy to say that overall 2010 has been much more enjoyable ~ things are looking up, i’m feeling more comfortable with who i am, and i know better now what to do to keep myself in a positive state of mind. sometimes it’s hard to keep that smile on your face, but it usually pays off in the end. and sometimes that’s easier said than done.

i love christmas. i love the decorations, the pretty lights, sending & receiving christmas cards, spending quality time with family & friends, the huge turkey dinner, all those delicious desserts, watching silly holiday movies over & over again…

i wasn’t sure which direction this blog post would go, but i think that it’s common theme is to remember who you are, how the past has shaped your life, lessons learned, adapt for the future, and most importantly don’t forget to indulge in the things you love.
